Fri 8th: Milling at Cricklepit. Devon Wildlife Trust. Venue: Cricklepit Mill. Time: meet 0930 at Bridge or 1000 at Cricklepit Mill

Watch local history come alive as the mill’s waterwheel starts turning and grain is ground into flour. Volunteer millers will show you how the mill works and if you feel inspired to get baking, the stone-ground wholemeal flour is available to buy. Free admission

Sunday 17th Sunday Bumble with Devon Wildlife Trust at the Wildflower gardens in Northernhay

Meet 2.30 at Queen Street entrance to gardens.

Relaxed bumble for an hour or so around Northernhay and Rougemont gardens and their new wildflower areas to find out which flowers are causing a buzz with bees, butterflies and other insects, plus tips on wildlife gardening and identifying common bumblebees.

Thursday 21st evening wildlife in university grounds. 7pm meet at bridge.
